Ingoldmells Market is open daily from around March to November to coincide with the holiday season and offers something for every member of the family. A “quick look around” can soon lead to a few hours browsing the packed stalls offering bargains at every turn from household goods to toys, beauty stalls and clothes and accessories. Ingoldmells market can get very busy as the day goes on so our recommendation would be to get around early if you have younger children. You won’t miss anything by going around later as the stalls are well stocked but it can be a bit of a handful if you have younger children with you, it can get very busy by early afternoon.
There is always an atmosphere at Ingoldmells market, you’ll find yourself strolling around the market in the middle of summer in the sun, music playing and the rollercoasters roaring overhead, it always gets the kids excited as they know they’ll be on the rides at Fantasy Island later in the day.
Need a break from shopping?
There are plenty of food outlets dotted around the market, there’s a McDonalds on the main road side of Fantasy Island and various huts around where you can pick up a bag of chips, an ice cream or just a quick coffee. In terms of parking there is an all day car park available just up form the market (click here for details) so you won’t have far to lug all those heavy bags too far.
Don’t forget that if you need a break from shopping you can unwind and let the kids blow off some steam at Tiny Tots Village or let them investigate the rides and excitement offered by Fantasy Island; it’s reassuring to have these excellent facilities close by in case the kids need some time out (don’t forget to keep an eye out for the bouncy slide in the market).
